Field Museum Hosts Performances, Highlights Scientists for Latinx Heritage Month
La Escuelita Bombera de Corazon (pictured above during a 2022 event) will return to the Field Museum to perform during Latinx Heritage Month.
The Field Museum will recognize Latinx Heritage Month with a variety of programs celebrating the culture and honoring contributions to science, according to organizers.
Now in its third year, we're excited that celebrating Latinx Heritage Month has become a Field Museum tradition, says Vicky Sanchez, the Museum's Annual Fund and Membership Director and one of the organizers of Latinx Heritage Month events. “We think it's important to highlight the work our scientists and scholars do with Latinx communities and to celebrate our culture.
