Assistant Curator of North American Anthropology
Negaunee Integrative Research Center
I am a North American archaeologist and specialist in precolonial Native American societies in the Midwest and Southeast. My research focuses on the broader impacts of complex non-state societies on outlying communities, and the impacts of endemic warfare on daily life.
I am the author of The Making of Mississippian Tradition (University Press of Florida, 2020)
