Rebekah started at the museum as an intern under Dr. Margaret Thayer sorting bulk samples from Australia and New Zealand for Staphylinids. Fun as that is/was, she moved onto research in other types of insects, lodging soundly in ants and other Formicidae research. With a vast army of interns and volunteers, she supervised the databasing of our pinned ant collection and is now working through the Robert E. Gregg Ant Collection (one of the most comprehensive North American Ant Collections).
