Meet the Panelists

The panel will feature Exhibitions Project Manager Angelica London, Senior Multimedia Creative Latoya Flowers, and Assistant Curator in African Anthropology Foreman Bandama, PhD. The discussion will be moderated by Bridgette Russell, Senior Director of Marketing & Communications.

Angelica London

Angelica has been at the museum for two years in March and came from the Education world. She was an Elementary School Art Teacher in Englewood. As a Project Manager, she coordinates everything needed to get ready for a show opening, whether it’s traveling to us from a different museum or planning everything from scratch when we’re creating the exhibition. She is the middle-woman for all communications to outside people. She also helps to keep our team members (Designers, Production staff, etc) organized and on budget by providing deadlines for things to be completed.

Latoya Flowers

Latoya has over 10 years of experience as a media producer in the museum industry. She’s currently a Senior Multimedia Creative at the Field Museum where she collaborates with exhibit designers, exhibit developers, illustrators, motion graphic artists, lighting designers, music composers and sound designers to create short films and immersive experiences for traveling, temporary and permanent exhibitions. She formerly worked at the Adler Planetarium as an Exhibition Media Producer. Latoya was named on the Blooploop50 Immersive Influencer list for 2024.

Foreman Bandama, PhD

Foreman is an African archaeologist and curator who studies African pre-industrial civilizations. He has specializations in ceramics, glass beads, archaeometallurgy and heritage studies. His work blends conventional material culture studies and archaeometallurgical analyses to explore the history, innovations and technology of African societies in southern Africa. He draws liberally from African theory and his lived experience as a product of a crafting rural Tsonga family from Zimbabwe.

Bridgette Russell, Moderator
