About this event

Drop in to the Crown Family PlayLab for free weekly activities for 2-6 year olds!

For this week's PlayLab PlayDate, families with 2-6-year-olds are invited to a free, drop-in storytime celebrating SUE the Tyrannosaurus rex. The Field Museum's beloved T.rex, SUE was first exhibited to guests 25 years ago on May 17, 2000! Join us for an interactive read aloud, celebrating SUE, the most complete T.rex ever discovered.

This storytime kicks off our "Summer of SUE" storytime series, which will take place on the first Wednesday of June, July, and August.

PlayLab PlayDates are free to museum guests, don’t require pre-registration, and take place on IL Resident Free Days! Sessions take place in the Crown Family PlayLab.
